Auction Item #17
Original Numbered Framed Artwork

This is simply amazing! Two prized signed and numbered prints by Honoré Daumier! Honoré Daumier (February 26, 1808 – February 10, 1879) was a French printmaker, caricaturist, painter, and sculptor, whose many works offer commentary on social and political life in France in the 19th century. A prolific draftsman who produced over 4000 lithographs, he was perhaps best known for his caricatures of political figures and satires on the behavior of his countrymen, although posthumously the value of his painting has also been recognized. Today, Daumier's works are found in many of the world's leading art museums, including the Louvre, the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Rijksmuseum.

AND now is your chance to own two of these world renowned prized drawings. They are professionally framed and are 14"W x 17.5"H -- very attractive color coordinated matting and frame. These would be a proud addition to any home and anyone serious about attractive wall decor would be honored to have these Honoré prints!!

ARWNY Thanks our Akita friend Lee Bordeleau, Raymond James Financial Services for this very generous donation!!
